Groups are set to begin in March, 2026 both in person in the Fort Wayne, Indiana, area and online. Apply today!
Dr. Elizabeth Laugeson and her team at UCLA manualized social skills for teens and have shared their research with the world. Our program, by PEERS certified coaches, follows the PEERS for Adolescents 14 week program. Check out the UCLA site for a list of published articles on the protocols.
Prerequisite skills include motivation to make and keep a friend, conversational skills to maintain sharing of information, and a social coach (parent, grandparent, other adult) who is willing to attend each week with their teen and practice skills.
We begin by reviewing basic conversational skills and progress through navigating entering and exiting conversations, handling bullying and teasing, and hosting get-togethers. Our team and the group are supportive throughout the process and available for 1:1 coaching.
We are motivated that all persons find a true friend with which to navigate life. Join us today to start the process.
